The intervention tends to recover the moat and the medieval walls, maintaining the traces of memory and open up the new public space to sun, air and life. It releases the medieval wall promenade from the intense road traffic, rethinking the mobility as a priority to reconnect the ancient trace with the old city nodes and facilities and fostering a place to walk and enjoy which will contribute on dynamizing and activating the new urban transitional space between the urban fabric and the landscape.
